Overview
Before his August 31, 2007 resignation, Karl Rove was George W. Bush's Deputy Chief of Staff. He's also headed the Office of Political Affairs, the Office of Public Liaison, and the White House Office of Strategic Initiatives. He is currently marred in the controversy over the dismissal of United States Attorneys.
