Kat Von D (born March 8, 1982) is a popular tattoo artist, widely known for her work as a featured artist on the "Miami Ink" reality TV show on TLC. She has since left the show to start production on "LA Ink," featuring a mainly female tattoo crew and her own shop in LA. Her full name is Katherine von Drachenberg. I have to be honest with everyone. When I first started watching Kat Von D on TV I might have thought a time or two that I didn’t like her with all the tattoos. I had this preconcieved notion that everyone with tattoos has the same personality and they are not nice.
