Kate DiCamillo is a children's author. She is known for her award-winning children's books including "Because of Winn-Dixie", adapted into film in 2005, "The Tale of Despereaux", and the "Mercy Watson" series.
'The Tale of Despereaux' Gets Another Great Trailer
The first time I saw a trailer for
The Tale of Despereaux I thought it was extremely well-animated and a
nice change of pace from the blockbuster cartoons we normally see. It's based on
the children's book by
Kate DiCamillo and features the voices of a
huge cast; I'm familiar with the work of the first seventeen names in the
credits. The major players are
Matthew Broderick,
Emma Watson,
Christopher
Lloyd,
Dustin Hoffman,
Sigourney Weaver,
William H.
Macy, and
Kevin Kline. Not bad.

The second trailer for Despereaux has been released, and it's definitely a crowd pleaser. Check it out and pay less attention to the rhymed verse exposition and more to the immaculate computer animation.
