Kate Gosselin and her Dancing with the Stars partner, Tony Dovolani, have had a rocky working relationship so far, and from the sound of it, things aren't getting any better.
Training gets tough for Kate. (From abc.com) After ABC bent over backwards to get Kate on the show (basement dance studio, flying her to LA once a week, relocating Tony to Pennsylvania), her first two dance numbers landed her in next-to-last place earlier in the week. While Tony supportively stood and smiled next to Kate during the show, it was clear from the rehearsal footage that there was tension between them.
"Tony wants to practice all day, but Kate takes too many breaks," an unnamed source told Us magazine. This inside source also says that on March 26, Dovolani grew frustrated when Kate took a break from working on their dance routine so she could get a 90-minute manicure and pedicure.
The source also says Kate is taking breaks to hit the tanning bed, but to be fair, Kate did need to keep those nails looking good in open-toe shoes for last Tuesday's performance.
Despite Kate's struggles, the reality mom of eight is helping to make the show a ratings success and even though her scores have been pretty bad, her fans are clearly keeping her in the show. Hopefully this week things will click and on Monday we'll see a whole new side of Kate!
