Kate Hudson Wears Emilio Pucci

Kate Hudson busy promoting her new film “Bride Wars”, arrives for a taping of the “Late Show with David Letterman” in New York, Monday January 5. Kate chose a figure hugging green sequined dress from the Emilio Pucci Spring 2009 collection.

Good fashion gone bad….

Even top-tier fashion mavens have a few misses among their fashion hits. While Kate is still as cute as a button, unfortunately this outfit is closer to a miss than a hit.
This dress doesn’t seem to be meant to cling to curves quite so much. The black tights are way too severe and combined with the shoes, the combo is just too heavy for the iridescent frock. The green matchy-matchy earrings don’t add much either.

Kate’s dress would look much improved without the black tights but if one must wear those tights then the dress below, also from the same Emilio Pucci collection, would look much better. Or perhaps the skirt (worn with a different top) shown in the adjacent set of photos would work.
