Alec Baldwin, is that you?

Over the weekend, Saturday Night Live's newest Donald Trump character made his big debut, and we certainly weren't disappointed.

Performing alongside Hillary Clinton (Kate McKinnon) in a reenactment of the first presidential debate, Baldwin's Trump addressed taxes, Mexico, and his absolutely impeccable temperament. McKinnon's Clinton was also notably on point, her tone and cadence nearly matching the Democratic presidential nominee's.

Mediated by Lester Holt (Michael Che), the "nominees" were asked how they intended to create jobs if they were to be elected. Hilarity ensued.

"I've got a very presidential answer for this," Baldwin's Trump said. "Our jobs are fleeing this country. They're going to Mexico. They're going to Jina. I would stop that. If Hillary knew how, she would have done it already. Period, end of story. I won the debate, I stayed calm just like I promised, and it is over. Goodnight Hofstra."

Much like the real debate, McKinnon's Clinton allowed Baldwin's Trump to say his ridiculous piece until she was able to provide her own responses. She did, however, allow him most of the spotlight, which resulted in a menagerie of silly statements that were sadly not too far off from the Republican presidential nominee's reality.

Our favorite was when Che's Holt addressed the incident with Alicia Machado, the Miss Universe winner Trump called "Ms. Housekeeping" in reference to her Venezuelan background.

"Lester, why are we talking about this woman?" Baldwin's Trump responded. "We should be talking about the important issues like Rosie O'Donnell and how she's a fat loser, and everyone agrees with me. I just wanted to bring that up at a presidential debate right at the end on my own volition, good idea, I did it."
