Kate McKinnon Takes the Wheel as Ms. Frizzle in 'Magic School Bus' Reboot
Put on your seat belts because this is going to be a wild ride!
Netflix finally figured out a way to make everyone love science.
The streaming service just announced that SNL leading lady and beloved weirdo, Kate McKinnon, will voice Mrs. Frizzle on The Magic School Bus reboot. The revamped version of the popular children's series is aptly titled Magic School Bus Rides Again. Sounds like a dream doesn't it?
If the rest of us had the privilege of being taught by McKinnon, then maybe we would've paid more attention in class!
The Magic School Bus originally aired on PBS from 1994 to 1997 and Ms. Frizzle was voiced by screen legend Lily Tomlin. Apart from being eccentric, Ms. Frizzle took her elementary school students on some notoriously wild field trips. Remember the time they all went up a chicken's butt or when Ms. Frizzle allowed her kids to get fertilized by a salmon?
Anything in the name of science, right? Here's to hoping that McKinnon will continue on with Ms Frizzle's balls-to-the-walls approach to learning!
