by Tom ZillerFiled under: Knicks, NBA FansESPN's Chris Sheridan reports on the world's first non-uStream Stephon Marbury sighting of the NBA season. It came at Madison Square Garden, where Knicks security had to ask a paid-in-full Starbury to go to his seat. Marbury had purchased a ticket in row A (that's the second row) for Saturday night's Knicks home opener against the Sixers. The only problem was that Marbury instead tried to sit in row AA...

- How To Quickly Improve The Knicks: Play The Youngsters (bleacherreport.com)
I'm no genius, but it seems to me that Marbury isn't a huge fan of Knicks coach Mike D'Antoni. In a tweet one would suspect were the rantings of a clinically insane individual, Marbury calls the coach "DPHONY." Nice. [SimonOnSports]

So now Marbury is [...]

This decade in New York Knicks basketball has been dreadful at best. Hall of Famer Patrick Ewing is long gone and striving to become a head coach. Their lockout Finals run of 1999 has lost its luster. The team was ripped to shreds thanks to Isiah Thomas and New York's own Stephon Marbury. The Knicks haven't had a winning season in nine years.
The only constant positive in recent years has been fan favorite David Lee. Despite all of the...

- Stephon Marbury Promises to Return, Just Not This Year (sports.aol.com)
The New York Knicks haven't been to the playoffs since 2004 and they haven't been past the first round in a decade.
Eight successive seasons have produced losing records, and the 2009-10 campaign is no different, right?
The Knicks won't win 40 games. They won't play .500 basketball. They won't pay Stephon Marbury $20 million to whine like a baby.
Things are changing in New York.
The Knicks will threaten for the eighth playoff spot in the east...

You might think nothing would frighten Stephon Marbury more than being an unemployed basketball player. On the contrary.
Thursday night, the former Knick drove to Blood Manor, the haunted house on West 27th Street, and sat outside in his Ford Escalade for half an hour, signing autographs, chatting and shaking hands with dozens of people [...]
