The WBBack in the late '90s, you were probably in love with at least one of the stars on Dawson's Creek. We were always drooling over Pacey, if you must know. While Joey and Dawson and the gang will always be angsty adolescents on the tube (and in our hearts), in real life 10 years has passed and these stars are all grown up and have kids, husbands, wives, and divorces of their own. But some of them are single — there's still hope!
Here's a rundown of the love lives of your favorite Capeside stars:
Dawson Leary (James Van Der Beek)
Getty ImagesDawson's been married twice in real life since bidding farewell to Capeside. He married actress Heather McComb in 2003, then they filed for divorce in 2009. Just 10 days after their divorce was final in 2010, he announced that he and girlfriend Kimberly Brook were expecting their first child together. They then married in a small ceremony in Israel later that year. They now have three children: Olivia (2010), Joshua (2012), and Annabel (2014).
Joey Potter (Katie Holmes)
Getty ImagesAs you've probably heard, Katie Holmes was married to Tom Cruise. After a whirlwind romance — and an infamous couch incident — they tied the knot in 2006, a few months after welcoming daughter Suri. They were one of Hollywood's hottest couples until they divorced in 2012. She's now single and ready to mingle.
Pacey Whitter (Joshua Jackson)
Getty ImagesDon't expect this heartthrob to make it down the aisle anytime soon, even though he and actress Diane Kruger have been dating since 2006. Neither star is into the marriage thing. Instead, they make it a point to look fantastic on the red carpet and even at Coachella.
Jen Lindley (Michelle Williams)
Getty ImagesShortly after her Dawson's Creek run, Williams began dating Heath Ledger. They welcomed daughter Matilda in 2005 before the stars split in the fall of 2007, just a few months before Ledger died from an accidental overdose in January 2008. More recently, Williams dated actor Jason Segel from June 2012 to the following February then artist Dustin Yellin. They split in May 2014, after about a year of dating.
Jack McPhee (Kerr Smith)
Getty ImagesDid you know Kerr Smith was the first man to have an on-screen gay kiss on US television, in season 3 of Dawson's Creek? He made strides for gay rights on the tube, but is heterosexual in real life. He was married to actress Harmoni Everett from 2003 to 2009 and is supposedly single at the moment.
Audrey Liddell (Busy Philipps)
