Kay Bailey Hutchinson plans to run for the Governor's seat in Texas.  She'll run against Gov Rick Perry. Kay Bailey Hutchinson formally announced her bid to become the Governor of Texas.  Hutchinson will run against current Gov. Rick Perry.  "We can't afford 14 years of one person appointing every state board, agency and commission," she told the press. Kay Bailey Hutchinson  is 66 years old.  She is serving her third term in the Senate.
