KEITH ANDERSON, C'MON! – BRILLIANT LIVE PERFORMANCE!
IT'S ALL ABOUT GIVING - A MUST SEE!
This past weekend Country Music bad boy Keith Anderson brought the house down at Floyd's in Tallahassee! Performing hits such as "I Still Miss You," "Somebody Needs A Hug", "C'MON!," "Pickin' Wildflowers," "Podunk," (one of my favorites) and others - get the new album, C'MON, Keith kept the show on a roll all night long!
Since I relocated to Florida 5 years ago, I have not been able to get motivated to go to shows only 10 minutes from my house. There are so many things going on in my life right now … the advertising agency (my baby), the new partnership with Di Rosa Films, would be just a few to be mentioned.
I wouldn't ever imagine that will be a moment when I'd say … The heck with everything, I have to be there! I saw the Keith date and said no way I am going to miss this - even at 500 miles each way. I had to meet the one and only Keith Anderson, the artist who is now one of the top country singers shown on CMT, GAC and all other country music charts.
'I Still Miss You' was recently 3 on GAC chart and I see the same for his recent hit 'Somebody Needs A Hug'. Number 1 all the way is more realistic though!
I had to meet the one who was able to make me feel the true intensity of emotions and real life. So, this past weekend got back from Tallahassee, driving 1,000 miles and being up for over 30 hours. Must admit, it was worth every single mile, the lack of sleep and every second spent over there. Still trying to catch up with everything ….
I gotta say that I have been to a lot of concerts in my wild days (US and Europe) and this was a very entertaining show from beginning to end. Great concert Saturday night at Floyd's in Tallahassee!!!
Keith is the only one right now who gets me excited about going to a concert, because I know that every moment spent there is pure happiness. Great musician, great performer, great music. His music is powerful and true, he keeps alive Country / Southern Rock and he does it just perfect! Keith Anderson is not only a gifted songwriter, but also a great singer with the "right" country voice.
When I heard first time Keith Anderson's "I Still Miss You" I wondered where he had been all my life. Couldn't stop the tears in my eyes brought by the raw emotions and dear memories. This song is incredible, absolutely heartbreaking quickly establishing it as a favorite. Not mentioning the astonishing vocals… talking about "the song of the year"! C'MON everybody!
Surprising, but not too much was said or written out there about what Keith brings in today's country music: something remarkable: substance, personal and artistic integrity, and a collection of touching and uplifting songs about the realities of life. He writes and sings songs with messages that are close to his heart, and this new album certainly reflects that attitude very well. All of his songs have a core that is authentic and passionate. There are great comments and reviews about Keith's new album coming even from Europe, where he has tons of fans. World News, Reuter, MTV Europe, all music boards are literally bragging about Keith Anderson.
Keith sings soulfully and convincingly to deliver the raw human emotions he writes about. His song topics include everything from loneliness and pain to passionate love and comforting hope. His story songs are just snapshots of everyday life.
There is something more profound and important sounding about Keith Anderson's music. He has the unique ability to write music that sounds timeless.
Keith brings to his music the authenticity lacking in most - heck - all of today's country music. He sings from somewhere most of us refuse to acknowledge, or have covered over to keep from feeling. There's stark honesty here, gliding on his songs that catch the ear and warm the soul. He's put his heart in it, and in doing so, touches ours. A quote that speaks for itself.
Amazing would be a good term to describe the emotional world of Keith Anderson when it comes to his music. No falseness or fake emotions can be detected behind the deep feelings he addresses.
This attitude does not come from cool deliberation or calculation. It comes from having lived a bit of real life. This honesty and his enormous musical talents make up the fabric these his songs are made of.
Keith's talent is in his incredible songwriting, which predominantly covers relationships of love and life. Every listener will be able to connect with his music. He is certainly one of the most talented songwriters out there, and with this album, proves that it's really all about the passion and love for the song, music, life, emotions and people.
The songs on Keith Anderson's sophomore album C'MON unfold like a story and were all recorded in one take, resulting in what sounds both sincere and genuine. It is a record just full of great songs, great feelings, and is another highlight that it's not about taking, it's all about the giving. This album is a must have if you are a true country music lover.
It's about real life, the ups and downs; the inspiration and the hurt that both come our day to day life, from being in love, or losing somebody dear to our heart; all of which are expressed via a one off talent, not to be missed. These songs are a glimpse into his emotions instead of a catchy sound. But the lyrics in the track unveil the motive behind this CD: to be true to himself, share himself and inspire others to do the same.
Keith has an amazing expressive voice that brings all of his lyrics home to the heart. He is an excellent example of a power vocalist that just as easily could tear a house down with his voice alone, splendid musical performance. Great stage presence. Sounds like his CD, though I was more impressed by his live performance. Sexy, charming, funny and he seemed to just enjoy playing. Great interaction with both his band and the audience.
All his songs are a breathtaking display of Keith Anderson's best qualities. Explosive choruses, great melodies, awesome vocals (both lead and background), powerful axemanship and a solid backbeat.
I was simply blown away by this concert. He had the entire audience eating out of his hands. I'm sure they'd literally do it, if he'd have asked! It was cool with the crowd singing along to every tune.
But it goes without saying that Keith is a superb live performer and wowed me with his guitar solos and fantastic vocals! Such a versatile artist, and he looks so comfortable and effortlessly charming and, hmmmm... sooo sexy onstage.
Did I mention his amazing blue eyes? They look better in person than in pictures. Incredible! Have to admit, he sounds even better than he looks, and he is really hot!
Keith is one of those rare performers who is even better in person. And in this case, that is saying a lot. I was not only impressed but really overwhelmed by his stage performance, his voice and especially the way he made me feel what he was singing about. And not only me! A look around showed me that everybody - really everybody - in the audience felt like me. This is an incredibly appealing and enjoyable performance. Hell, at this point, he could sing those songs in his sleep and still get a standing ovation.
Seeing Keith Anderson performing live is a must if you love country music.
The audio setup was top-notch; you could hear the entire crowd singing along to every song. What an amazing concert this was!! You can actually feel the excitement of the crowd as you watch.
One of the best I've heard in many years is the 'legend' Bob Hatter. I do love this guy! Bob, you are just amazing! Thank you for the great moments after the show, loved every single one and must say it: You are one of the greatest and hottest people I've ever met!
Bob Hatter backed Anderson with plenty of solid playing. The band possesses a Rock & Roll influenced style blended with modern country sounds. Their exceptional playing and high-energy attitudes completed the show!
I got the opportunity to spend a couple minutes with Keith and the boys after the show. Unlike a lot of performers, Keith looks you in the eye and talks to you not at you, like he is making a point in proving that he cares.
Must share this with all of you … Keith was injured, he wasn't feeling well, the tiredness from hard-core tour that would get to anyone else, the suffocating crowd … you couldn't notice any of them, as for Keith nothing else seemed to matter but to bring happiness in every single heart.
One of the most impressive and intense moments of the night was when Keith literally was on his knees, taking his time talking, comforting and hugging a little girl in a wheelchair. Can say for sure that he made her life brighter and she will keep those minutes forever in her heart.
I had tears in my eyes the whole time, and starting then Keith Anderson became for me not only the brilliant artist, but an amazing person who has just proven his heart and great character. I could see that hundreds of people felt the same. It was a moment of silence and a heart beat from all of us to Keith.
Part of the fun of being in front of people is to help them get to know you a little, I think. Keith is not only an amazing artist, but a wonderful person.
He just rocks your world and makes you feel that nothing else matters but that very special moment.
Drove my other 500 miles back and got home right before noon - so I was only up for 35 1/2 hours...not quite 36. It was worth every mile and the lack of sleep.
Thinking all along how a person who was a stranger the other day could make me so happy in so less time. I didn't meet too many people in my life who are able to have a similar effect on me.
Can't stop thinking and dreaming to the next time when I'll have the chance seeing Keith and the boys. Must admit …. I'd wish to see them in Florida more often, and for sure there are many others who think the same way.
It's also a hint for all South Florida's venues (hey guys, waiting the word from ya') that shouldn't miss the huge opportunity of being proud having Keith Anderson performing live. C'MON!
There are venues in Europe that would do anything possible to have Keith performing there, and trying to book him years in advance.
Overall, I am still living 'Keith Anderson and Band' moment and already missing the wonderful experience I had the chance to be a part of. I am telling myself very often though: Be thankful for what you have; you'll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don't have, you will never, ever have enough." It sums up the essence of saying 'thank you'.
Thank you Bob Hatter, Phil Sanders, Weston Mays, Rocco, and all the others who really made me feel that dreams can come true! Love and miss ya'll!
THANK YOU, Keith Anderson!
Soon to be published my new video clip: Thank You, Keith Anderson!
