Kelis (kehl-EES') has welcomed her first child, a boy named Knight. Her representative, Tracey Nguyen (nuh-WEN'), says the 29-year-old singer gave birth at a New York hospital Wednesday night. Nguyen says the baby weighed 7 pounds, 8 ounces. The father is her soon-to-be ex-husband Nas (NAHZ). Kelis, best known for the hit single "Milkshake," filed for divorce from the rapper in April.
