Details on Kelis’ financial situation have been revealed , and it looks like she really does need Nas’ money to support her new baby.
According to court docs, Kelis’ income is a mere $21,616 per month, just barely enough to cover the $15,000 that she spends on entertainment, vacations and gifts monthly. Between that and her hefty mortgage, there just isn’t enough money to cover the baby’s nanny.

Nas left his pregnant wife Kelis this past April after six years of marriage, and it looks like he hasn’t manned up and provided her with anything since the split.
