Kelly Hu lands 'Almost Perfect' role
NEW YORK, Oct. 1 (UPI) --
U.S. actress Kelly Hu has been cast in writer/director Bertha Bay-Sa Pan's romantic comedy, Slew Pictures announced Thursday.

Production on her next project is set to begin this month in New York.
In it, Hu will play Vanessa, a 30-something New York career woman, who, after too many years of being everybody's go-to girl, finally gets a chance at love when she meets a man who's almost perfect for her. But, just as she starts to consider the possibility of romance, her family life suddenly falls apart, Slew Pictures said in a news release.
