Pavlik was to fight Williams at Atlantic City's Boardwalk Hall in one of the year's most anticipated bouts, but promoter Top Rank announced Wednesday that Pavlik is unable to make a fist or punch with the injured hand. The fight was scheduled for Atlantic City, but Pavlik was unable to begin training because of a stubborn staph infection.
