Kelly Preston is quietly returning to work. She is playing the role of Miley Cyrus’s mother in the film, The Last Song. This is Preston’s first film since the death of her son, Jett Travolta in January.
Greg Kinnear is also in the cast, playing an estranged father.
Preston will also be seen this November in Old Dogs with Matt Dillon and Robin Williams.
