Center Andre Gurode and safety Ken Hamlin were held out of the Dallas Cowboys' practice Wednesday. Coach Wade Phillips says it would have been unlikely that Gurode (ankle sprain) and Hamlin (groin strain) could have played if it had been a game day. But he isn't ruling them out of Sunday's game at Green Bay.  

Denny Hamlin is over last week's debacle at Auto Club Speedway. He just wishes everybody else was too. Hamlin likely saw his bid for his first NASCAR title evaporate with 60 laps to go when the pole-sitter mistakenly tried to cut off a hard-charging Juan Pablo Montoya on a double-file restart. Seattle cornerback Ken Lucas did not return after he sustained a shoulder stinger in the third quarter of the Seahawks' game Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys. Lucas was hurt trying to bring down running back Felix Jones in Dallas' 38-17 victory. On the tackle, Jones pushed Lucas to the ground, and the ninth-year cornerback landed awkwardly.  

Marcus Trufant will make his season debut for the Seahawks on Sunday at Dallas. Seattle activated the 2007 Pro Bowl cornerback from the physically-unable-to-perform list Friday. Last week was the first time Trufant had practiced since July, when a disk issue in his back began. Coach Jim Mora expects Trufant to play mainly in nickel defensive alignments on passing downs against the Cowboys.
