2007 Most Inspirational Story In Sports

Mud Free Sports has announced the Most Inspirational Story in Sports for 2007. The tradegy and quick recovery of Bills Tight End Kevin Everett is the winner of this award. Few can forget the opening week hit that Everett suffered on a kickoff and him lying on the field motionless for a number of minutes. The next day, doctors said his injury was such, that he may never walk again. We only learned within 48 hours that their was movement and doctors were crediting a new technique that Bills' doctors had just practiced in the weeks leading up to the season opener. Now, as the season draws to a close, Everett is able to walk on his own and even attended the Bills game against the Giants. Everett spoke to his teammates and then sat in Bills Owner Ralph Wilson's private box. He is humble and was unsure whether he should even attend the game, fearing that too much attention would be on him. We can only hope that Kevin will also be able to play the game he loves once again!
