Charles Barkley once said, “I am NOT a role model.” Well, I’m here to tell you that we all have role models and we all want to be like somebody, I don’t care how good your life is. There’s always something else you would like in it, no matter how good things are going for you. I’ve decided to take a turn away from my usual sports column and just write about five people that I would like to be. Writing about subjects like this is almost better than writing about football, because free-writing... Read Full Story
FUUUCCCKKK!!!! This is NOT GOOD for the Celtics. I thought and assumed KG would be back and ready for the playoffs to help the Celtics compete for back to back NBA Championships but now it sounds like he may not even play one minute. Doc Rivers was interviewed on WEEI this morning and he said "it was likely that Kevin Garnett would not be available to play at all in the playoffs."

Boston is completely stacked with self-sacrificing veterans ( Read Full Story

Celtics star Paul Pierce tweeted to his followers, "Looked like a
German shepherd vs. a poodle. That's OK the Rottweiler Celtics will be
back in 2010." Magic

On June 28, 1995 the Minnesota Timberwolves chose Kevin Garnett with the fith overall pick in the NBA draft. More than a decade of dominance and eleven all-star appearances later, Garnett is finally out of Minnesota and a member of the Boston Celtics. Hopefully that's not news to you because he has been there since last summer. During all of KG's time in the Land of 10,000 Lakes, Glen Taylor (owner of the T-Wolves) was absolutely in love with him. Now, more than seven months after... Read Full Story
I always find it strange when sports superstars admit that their favorite sport is actually different than the one they get paid to play. You always assume that pros are playing the sport they love most but it's not always the case. I posted the other day about Chad Ochocinco's infatuation with soccer . Kevin Garnett has also admitted his love for the sport many times in the past as well and now Adidas has put together a crazy custom package to reflect that.
It's one thing to hear an... Read Full Story
