Kevin Jonas and Girlfriend Danielle Deleasa Are Engaged!

Danielle Deleasa and Kevin Jonas. Kevin Jonas, 21, will no longer have to wear his promise ring soon. He'll be replacing it with a different kind of band.

The eldest of the Jonas brothers has just asked his girlfriend of two years, 22-year-old Danielle Deleasa, to marry him. She said yes, of course - many, many times. According to People, Kevin suprised Danielle by showing up at her New Jersey doorstep Wednesday morning with a Jacob & Co. engagement ring. Once Deleasa had recovered from the shock, "She said yes, yes, yes like 500 times super fast in a row," according to Kevin.

Danielle and Kevin met on the beach in the Bahamas in May 2008. Kevin, who flew to New Jersey immediately after performing in Vancouver, said of the engagement, "It was tough performing last night, knowing that I was going to ask the biggest question in my life to the most amazing girl in the world."

The Jonas parents released a statement today:
Our hearts are filled with joy today and we are happy to share with you that our son Kevin has asked Danielle for her hand in marriage. Her answer was yes, and it is such a blessing that she will be joining our family. Kevin and Danielle have not yet set a date. Family is very dear to us, and we hope we have raised Kevin to be a wonderful man and husband. Please join us in our family's celebration and in congratulating Kevin and Danielle. Thank you for all of your support.
One down, two to go. Although we don't expect Nick Jonas and Miley Cyrus to tie the knot anytime soon. Congratulations to Kevin and Danielle!
