Learn about federal opposition leader Kevin Rudd. Kevin Rudd is a vocal politician often seen in Brisbane and fighting for Queenslanders. Rudd is the leader of the federal Australian Labor Party and Leader of the Opposition in the Australian Parliament. He has been a member of the Australian House of Representatives since 1998, representing the Division of Griffith, Queensland.
A TELLING exchange occurred between Kevin Rudd and an ABC journalist, Louise Yaxley, at the NATO summit in Bucharest in April.
