Kevin Skinner Wins ‘America’s Got Talent’ (Watch Videos)

I have read several articles on Kevin Skinner. A few stating this is not America's sob story. I think the people writing this should check again. Bottom line is rating's and popularity. If is sells is what matters in the end of the day. If the man can't carry a tune he will voice coaches and all the things needed the average american can only hope for. No one should be harsh after all millions have voted. Kevin represents hope in recession. Hope for anyone to try out for next year's contest. A risk the American people were willing to take. While I don't think he can sing in comparison to an Opera singer or Susan Boyle he is genuine. Don't people remember the talent shows at school. I think this time in recession people envision themselves winning the mil and gave the guy a chance. The chance which changes his life and in turn gives America Hope if an average guy can do it, so can they. If it changes the attitudes and rejuvenates dreams again, Why not He deserves it. If America wanted professionalism, go to American Idol or So you think you can dance. America's got talent is about talent and the person as a whole. This in itself is clever and a marketing approach for each contestant who has an equal chance to capture America. If this isn't talent what is?
