Kevin Trudeau is a former pocket billiards promoter who has since become an alternative medicine advocate. He is known for a number of television infomercials and for writing several books, including Natural Cures "They" Don't Want You to Know About.
Kevin Trudeau - Lose weight, cure disease, and other cons
Kevin Trudeau is possibly the smartest person alive. His books will teach you how to lose weight, improve your memory, cure yourself of diseases such as cancer, aids,or the common cold, and just added - how to get out of debt.
You may have seen one of Trudeau’s informercials late at night on televison. Some of his comical products include “Natural Cures They Don’t Want You to Know About“,”More Natural Cures Revealed“,”Secret Food Cures“, and of course “The Weight Loss Cure” To read some important reviews of this great book go here.
All of Kevin Trudeau’s books are based on crazy theories and unproven “science”. When people are in bad situations they can easily be duped. Just think of it, this guy is not a doctor or scientist. What makes this guy even more compelling is that he organized a billiards organization. That too did not go exactly as slated. Read some more about the billiards fiasco.
Well, who is the man behind all those slick promotions pulling in millions each week? Pretty much a con man who has done some time in federal prison and has paid hundreds of thousands of dollars in fines to the FTC. That is the Federal Trade Commission due to absurd medical claims and constant complaints by consumers.
Getting back to Mr. Slick,In 1991, he pleaded guilty to credit-card fraud in federal district court and was sentenced to nearly two years in prison. He also marketed multilevel distributorships for “Nutrition for Life” vitamins that generated lawsuits by at least 10 states’ attorneys general in the mid-1990s. Trudeau and his partners paid at least $185,000 to settle charges that they were running an illegal pyramid scheme.
So if anyone ever talks about con men, you can say you know of one that is on television daily.
