Alleged Murderer had Baby Obsession

On Friday, July 18, (2008) authorities discovered the gruesome scene where 18-year-old Kia Johnson's body was discovered in Andrea Curry-Demus' apartment.

Johnson's womb had been ripped out and Curry-Demus had taken the baby as her own.

Curry-Demus has been charged with the murder and kidnapping, but frighteningly enough, this is not the first time she has shown signs of being obsessed with having a baby of her own.

In May of 1990, months after her own miscarriage, Curry-Demus was arrested for stabbing a woman in a plot to take her baby. The next day she was arrested for kidnapping a baby from the hospital.

The attacks led to her spending the next 8 years in prison before she was released in 1998.

Fast forward ten years later, and Kia Johnson found herself in the company of Curry-Demus. Johnson didn't know about her past, but found herself victim to the woman's plot to steal a baby.
