Well on a quest to find some new gyms in Thailand, I decided to spend some time in Bangkok (since I hub through the city a lot). This gym I am standing at is very close to Lumpinee Boxing Stadium. The trainer I had is an ex Cahmpion and very subtle on his technique advice (in Thai nor English). He did rounds of 3 minutes instead of the normal 5 mintues (since 3 mintues is the real time--the tempo ca be pushed far beyond what you can do in 5 minutes). Very hard training. This was just oen of... Read Full Story

There are many people that say they teach Muay Thai--and they don't have a clue. Subsequently, anyone that thinks he or she is going to Muay Thai classes is... Read Full Story

That being said, with the explosion of MMA in North America , it’s easier to train Muay Thai on these shores than if, say, the other Shark Guy were to introduce the finer points of Slap Shot and the game of hockey to the Thais.

OK, well I've been doing some other stuff as of late--like what? Well like training for this damn TV fight in Thailand.
