A 28-year-old Milford, Calif. woman claims Kid Rock assaulted her. According to the Oakland Press, a report has been filed with the Oakland County Sheriff's Department and the alleged assault is under investigation. In the article, Oakland County Undersheriff Michael McCabe said the rock star invited the unnamed woman and a man to his home to listen to music after meeting them at a bar-restaurant in Clarkston , Calif. Kid Rock has started a lawsuit against a woman who claimed he threw her into a snowbank. The musician is seeking undisclosed monetary damages for invasion of privacy, defamation, and for trespassing. In a police report, Kozlowski had claimed that Kid Rock grabbed her by the neck and threw her into a snowbank, charges that Rock denied -- and that were ultimately unsubstantiated. Kid Rock won't be charged by prosecutors, after they couldn't confirm an assault claim from a woman who visited his Detroit house last week. In a statement, the Oakland County prosecutor's office says it has declined to press charges against Rock Citing "conflicting witness accounts" and lacking a way to corroborate the charges through "photographs or medical reports," County Prosecutor David Gorcyca says there's "insufficient evidence to support a charge."
