Kirsty Coventry got Silver in the Women's 100m Backstroke at the Beijing Olympics today. It's another Silver medal for Kirsty Coventry in the swimming pool and her second at Beijing Olympics 2008. Day 1 at the Beijing 2008 Olympics, Zimbabwe's Kirsty Coventry was in action swimming in the woman's 400m individual medley heat at the swimming competitions in the National Aquatics Centre. Kirsty swam the seventh fastest time in the event. The finals of the individual medley event will be on tomorrow Sunday. Good luck to Kirsty and hopefully she will get medal tomorrow. Nineteen-year-old Katie Hoff from America is the one to beat in this event. Amazing! Congratulations to Kirsty Coventry, 3 Medals at the Beijing Olympics 2008 and 3 medals for Zimbabwe. Kirsty Coventry won her third Silver medal at the Beijing Olympics 2008 in the Women's 200m Individual Medley. She was second behind the Gold medal winner Stephanie Rice, in today's finals at the National Aquatics Centre in Beijing. Natalie Coughlin of the USA got Bronze.
