Dylan's sweater from Knitscene
Well, here is Dylan's sweater so far. It's the "Big Thaw Pullover" from Knitscene designed by Amanda Berka.
I showed him the photo and he really liked it and I was in shock because teenage boys are very hard to please with knitting. Or at least he is. He knows what he likes just like me but this made me happy because I love the design too. It looks great, simple lines and some fun techniques for me to do like knitting from the top down, which I have never done on a sweater before. Also I got to practice my short rows too. We picked out a nice brown heather "Encore" color 1444 Lot.36507 this yarn will wear well and last longer for a teen than the yarn used in Amanda's design which is a beautiful singles. What is that in the background? Well, that is my pet sheep given to me by lovely friend Nancy. Isn't she cute. She needs a name, any suggestions?
