Kim wins Wachovia...Lakers win 1st game in Semis
Anthony Kim won his first victory on the PGA Tour today winning the Wachovia Championship in Charlotte, North Carolina, and the Los Angeles Lakers, behind Kobe Bryant's 38 points, defeated the Utah Jazz in the first game of their semi-final series at Los Angeles. Kim's first victory was just a matter of time and the Lakers victory suspected. The Lakers have now beaten Utah four out of their last five meetings. Utah had it down to a four point game late in the fourth quarter but the Lakers pulled away in the end for the victory. Trying to stop Kobe Bryant is like trying to harness Michael Jordan in his prime. It can not be done. Whether L.A. holds on to win and then go to the championship series remains to be seen.
