Kansas City Chiefs Tight End Saves Drowning Boy During Hometown Visit

By eurzimbio on  From eurweb.com
*The black community realllllllly has some ‘splainin’ to do when it comes to the inability to swim. So many African American adults have not learned and have passed the tradition on to their own children. Well, fortunately, one adult…ONLY ONE!  at a birthday pool party last Saturday was able to swim and saved the life of a six-year old boy. (more…)Read Full Story

Revisiting the Kansas City Chiefs 2004 Draft

By cthorman on  From arrowheadpride.com
If the Chiefs didn't grab Jared Allen in the fourth round, the 2004 draft goes down as probably one of the top three worst drafts of all time in Kansas City. The Chiefs did trade their #30 first round pick to Detroit for the Lion's second, fourth and 2005 fifth round pick, giving the Chiefs seven total picks in 2004. Round 2, #36 overall, DT Junior...Read Full Story

Kansas City Chiefs Depth Chart Projections

By cthorman on  From arrowheadpride.com
via www.uwrf.edu Simple exercise: guess the depth chart on opening day. 53 players. Your thoughts, welcome. All I can say is that the leap from Herm to Haley, in terms of talent on the roster, has been quantum. I know I'm not alone when I say I've caught the fever again. QB: Cassel, Croyle, Gutierrez Teams almost always keep three QBs on the team.  The question to me isn't whether Croyle will upset Cassel (only a madman would give a player who physically can't handle an entire season...Read Full Story

Kansas City Chiefs Call About A Free Agent Nose Tackle

By cthorman on  From arrowheadpride.com
The Kansas City Chiefs depth chart currently lists Ron Edwards , Derek Lokey and Garrett Brown at nose tackle. We know in training camp that Shaun Smith has also taken nose tackle reps. The Chiefs, though, are always looking to upgrade or add competition. The agent for free agent nose tackle Kendrick Clancy passes along word via Twitter that the Chiefs have put in a call to his client, as have other teams. client NT Kendrick Clancy..is healthy and ready to play..recent calls from the...Read Full Story

We tracked the Kansas City Chiefs depth chart every week during the season and while it was usually the most boring post of the week I knew it would eventually come in handy. We've got a pretty cool look (I think, anyway) at the Chiefs roster taking a position-by-position comparison of the Week 1 depth chart vs. the Week 17 depth chart. A few notes on what we found: There are 27 positions listed (including special teams). 16...

We actually have a few changes to the Kansas City Chiefs depth chart under head coach Romeo Crennel. There were a few notables changes for Oakland Raiders week: Jonathan Baldwin moves ahead of Jerheme Urban as the second receiver behind Steve Breaston; Kyle Orton is the top quarterback followed by Ricky Stanzi and Tyler Palko. Previously it was the exact opposite; Javier Arenas and Dexter McCluster are one and two at punt and...
