Beach BuddyBeach Buddy, Paumco Products, Weed Rake, Lake Weeds, Weed Roller

The Beach Buddy is a truly revolutionary product that reduces the effort required to manage the weeds and debris on the bottom of your swim area or washed up on your beach (yes - it works for raking major debris from your sandy beach).

Simply wheel the 40inch wide unit into the lake with the tines and sickle in the UP mode. Once the Beach Buddy is in the area you want to transform, twist the handle, dropping the sickle and rake tines to the bottom of the lake.

As you pull the Beach Buddy to the shoreline it scrapes the bottom dragging weeds, algae, sticks and garbage to the shore. Twist the handle, lifting the tines and leaving the debris on the beach! No back-braking lifting! No callouses from raking!

Purchase additional extensions and wheel up to 27ft into the water without getting wet!

By twisting the handle you can raise or lower the tines. By an easy twist of the handle this will raise the 16 tines, then roll the Beach Buddy to the exact location in the water, that you want cleaned, then simply twist the handle back. By twisting the handle, the tines are lowered. Pull the Beach Buddy back slowly to shore then twist the handle again to raise the tines and the weeds will slide off the tines and be left at the shore. You are now ready to roll it back out to the weeds.

The wheels have holes in them to allow the water to enter while going into the water, and allowing water to escape while leaving the water. This feature keeps the Beach Buddy on the bottom all the time. The large wheels 3" x 20" high allow Beach Buddy to easily roll on land or in the water.

This self cleaning non-motorized machine is completely built to last. The frame and the cover are built of steel & powder coated to withstand many years of use. The tines are made of carbon steel and are heat treated for strength, then chromate plated. The Wheels are made of rugged polyethylene. The handle & extensions are galvanized steel tubing.

After trying the Beach Buddy, you will agree that this is with no doubt the easiest way to get rid of those unwanted weeds without herbicides and strenuous labor. You'll be amazed at how simple weed removal can be.

WeedRoller - Removes Lake Weeds & Muck

Weed Roller

How the WeedRoller works

The WeedRoller moves in a slow, broad arc, pivoting more than 270 degrees. As it's linked rollers rotate along the lake bottom, the WeedRoller detaches existing weeds and agitates the lake bed. This prevents more weed growth, for a clean, sandy lake bottom and a pleasant swimming area. The WeedRoller easily attaches to any dock or can be set up on an optional tripod. For initial clearing, operate the WeedRoller continuously until the area is cleared.

Bob Meyer: Big Birch Lake, MN. "The lake bottom had not been used by swimmers and consequently the weeds gathered and grew and the subsequent muck develops. The WeedRoller handles the Job."

Dale Danielson: Eagle Lake, MN. "Many weeds and 4" of silt. After 1 year with WeedRoller, I have no weeds and bottom cleaned up dramatically... The real bonus was bottom firmed up, no silt and muck left. It worked great!"

Jeff Muller: Wall Lake, MN. "The bottom line for me is that I bought a home on this lake 2-1/2 years ago. I have three children. Without a beach or area to swim for my children the reasons for living on any lake would be greatly diminshed... Without the WeedRoller I'm not sure if I would still be living at this address. Customer service is your strongest suit-its great!"

Evelyn Larson: Pelican Lake, MN. "I didn 't like the idea of putting chemical weed killers in the lake, and they really didn't do any kind of a job for us at all...It's a good feeling to know that you're using something that's proper, and that it works so well!"

Warren Johnson: Shamineauu Lake, MN. " We had over a foot of muck before the WeedRoller-now the bottom is hard with a muck ridge at the end of the rollers... The WeedRoller does a great job of clearing it out."

Warren Anderson: Upper Gull Lake, MN. "I feel the WeedRoller is the best method for control of lake weeds. I don't believe chemicals should be dumped in our lakes at all."

Robert Toborg: Margaret Lake, MN. "My grandchildren and my kids all love the new beach they can play in. My neighbors can't believe what a good job this unit did!"

Gerald Meeks: Child Lake, MN. "It has done a great job which exceeded our expectations."

Jerry Sheets: Pelican Lake, MN. "It works well, totally cleared all weeds from all areas and smoothed the bottom... Easy to set up and works perfectly. It takes 3 days to control weeds..."

Gale Eastwood: Upper Gull Lake, MN. "Worth every penny. Pleased with performance and operation. Simple concept and it works - a good combination!!"

Carol Brezinka: Pequot Lakes, MN. "THE BEST SOLUTION WE'VE EVER USED!!! for 2 years we went with a state licensed sprayer - the cost of this was the same as the investment in the roller & this is the only thing that has worked and we feel will last certainly more than 2 years!"

Gene Rindehnt: Dagget Lake, MN. "It made the bottom much firmer and got rid of weeds, I just love to watch the progress it makes."

Hey, why are all of the testimonials from MINNESOTA?       That's a good question!

Currently there are THOUSANDS in use today - and that's just in Minnesota (the birthplace of the WeedRoller). The WeedRoller is one of those products that has been succesfully  sold by word of mouth and by referral. If a new WeedRoller lands on someone's shoreline, it takes very little time before that neighborhood adds another, then across the bay, the lake, the county and the state.

The biggest draw for most lakeshore owners is that they can define the area of weed control to their specific swim area. Most people that have kids swimming in the water prefer The WeedRoller rather than pouring chemicals in that will drift - and who knows what the long term effects are. We believe that the WeedRoller is better for the environment that the alternative methods.

Why Do Some States Regulate The Use The WeedRoller?

POINT: Environmentalists are concerned that a WeedRoller has the ability to remove vegetation, lift silt and compact the bottom with a final result being a hard, packed, weed free, sandy bottom.

COUNTERPOINT: Yes, The WeedRoller will create a hard, packed, weed free, sandy bottom in a specific, defined area. However, it is our opinion that many lakeshore owners will do what they want to do to develop a small swimming area near their dock. Using an automated system that is typically stationary with the dock creates less environmental risk than harsh chemicals that may drift far from the application and are often applied without proper knowledge.

The WeedRoller retails for $3,295 but The Weeders Digest offers an introductory special price of $2,975 for a limited time only!    Spendy? Yes, but consider the recreational value it will bring to your shoreline NOW and when and if you were to sell your home or cottage. We know of realtors that recommend the WeedRoller to clients that are soon to list their waterfront because of the increased resale value that a nice solid lake bottom will bring. Think R.O.I. !

Here is what some WeedRoller Owners have to say about their WeedRoller:

Bob Meyer: Big Birch Lake, MN. "The lake bottom had not been used by swimmers and consequently the weeds gathered and grew and the subsequent muck develops. The WeedRoller handles the Job."

Dale Danielson: Eagle Lake, MN. "Many weeds and 4" of silt. After 1 year with WeedRoller, I have no weeds and bottom cleaned up dramatically... The real bonus was bottom firmed up, no silt and muck left. It worked great!"

Lynn Cupkie: Big Pine Lake, MN. "We were so overpopulated with weeds. I wouldn't even go in the water. Now we have a beautiful swim area-hard and totally weed-free bottom. We think your WeedRoller is one of the best things we ever invested in."
