Tim Matlock reports that during our recent cold snap, the ponds below Block Drive were almost completely frozen over, which is about two to three weeks earlier than normal. This cold snap seems to have spoiled our usual brilliant, coloured landscape , with most leaves now uninteresting shades of brown.
