Mumbai, Oct 6: Talented people from Northeast are making their presence felt in various professions. Among them is fashion designer Imchatsung Imchen from Nagaland, who dazzled the audience with his collection at the Lakme Fashion Week held in Mumbai recently.

A-list starlet and one of the most graceful actress of Indian cinema, Deepika Padukone recently wowed fashionistas at India's Lakme Fashion Week when she walked the ramp for designers Nanika and Gauri.  

It was nice to see Sushmita back on the ramp after a long time and she looked ravishing at the fourth day of Lakme Fashion Week 2010. Sushmita was the showstopper for Vikram Phadnis wedding collection and wore a gold lehenga and choli.  

Mamta Mohandas at Lakme Fashion Week 2009 When Mamta Mohandas walked the ramp for her friend, Chennai designer Vivek Karunakaran, at Lakme Fashion Week 2009, she became the show stopper. Mamta looked chic in a blue-orange-wine coloured textured tunic. Katrina Kaif’s barbie doll has come to India and will be launched on Barbie’s 50th year.Katrina walked the ramp as a Barbie for a special Barbie show as the Lakme Fashion Week held few months back. Katrina talking about her doll says, “I’ve been a part of the entire process of doll making and it’s been quite fascinating. Since, I’ve been travelling out of Mumbai for the promotions of my movies; unfortunately I’ve not been able to see it yet.
