Recently, I took Richard Justice of the Houston Chronicle up on his offer to "fix the Astros", and what came out of my research and conclusion was that the Astros could feasibly win in 2010 . I stand by my attempt to make them competitors in the 2010 season, as I believe the team has a solid core and enough money to surround that core with players who can help them win.  I did, however, have a thought that kept gnawing at the back of my mind...

It looks like the Houston Astros have come to a crossroads of sort. During this offseason they have to decide on which players to keep, which to acquire, which to let go, and which not to pursue. Jeff Bagwell is a name that resonates with the Houston Astros franchise.
