Are you ready for this? Okay. Mike Hampton pitched 4.1 innings for the Atlanta Braves Monday, allowing one run on just 2 hits in their 4-2 loss to the St. Louis Cardinals. And he didn't hurt himself. Not even a hangnail.
During his absolute best outing of the Spring, Hampton threw 75 pitches. In a row! Up until this point his longest day was just two innings long, coming on March 2nd.Way to go, buddy!
