Highly-touted freshman Lance Stephenson of Cincinnati has been cleared to compete by the NCAA Eligibility Center and won't sit out any games, greatly enhancing the Bearcats' status as a Big East Conference contender.  

Well, for those of us that saw him in the Deveroes championship or for those that caught the scrimmages, seeing Lance Stephenson play is not new. But Thursday night was Lance's first appearance as a cleared NCAA player with the word coming down late in the afternoon before UC's opening exhibition with Saginaw Valley State
