Alber Elbaz and his menswear designer, Lucas Ossendrijver
Moroccan Born Alber Elbaz has the attention of fashion audiences worldwide with a fascinating collection menswear fall 2012. Most of our fascination lies with the bright pieces and cinched wait lines. I guess Lanvin is looking to replicate its success with womenswear especially on the red carpet in the past year.
What we love about this collection is the fluidity and consistency in tailoring knowing that fall fashion is all about...Read Full Story
What’s blue, dotty, and fabulous all over? This adorable bag! I’d love to have this super chic Lanvin ‘Mini Pop’ Polka Dotted Snakeskin Shoulder Bag hanging at my hip, full of my daily essentials. The deep, dark blue color is rich and elegant, but the polka-dotted snakeskin gives it a fun twist. The antique brass and resin turnlock closure adds a welcome touch of vintage whimsy, making this my favorite bag… until I find another favorite bag. Available for $1,325 at Brown’s...Read Full Story

Models sit and dance around a dinner tablet with lots of snakes in Lanvin's Spring/Summer 2012 ad camapaign, which shot by Steven Meisel. The song playing in the background is Maxine Ashley's "Cookieman," which was written and produced by Pharell. The bizarre Lanvin dinner party includes snakes of different sizes. Some of the snakes are crawling on the tablet, while others are wrapped around models. One of the snakes snaps at the camera at the...

That’s … Read the rest
