Megan Fox 86s 'Tomb Raider,' Opens Door For...

In January I revealed that a "Tomb Raider" reboot was in development and that Megan Fox was the front-runner to slip into Angelina Jolie's thigh-holsters. Well, the "Transformers" hottie recently took the opportunity to shoot down that rumor -- ironically, with the swiftness required to play Lara Croft.

"I think that's a role that Angelina Jolie mastered, and I would never attempt to take that over from her," Megan said, opening the door for another starlet to try and swipe the metaphorical stone from Angie's perfectly former palm.

A new poll asking which other actresses should be considered resulted in a near tie between "Firefly's" Summer Glau (with 28 percent) and "Smallville's" Kristin Kreuk (23 percent). Now, I really like Kristin -- read her PopWrap interview here -- but I just don't believe ass-kickery is an element of her DNA.

She was super unbelievable as a street fighter in "Street Fighter," so I can't see her bringing the pain as a tomb raiding tough girl. Summer, on the other hand, has embraced a rough and tumble vibe in almost all of her small screen projects -- plus, IMHO, she resembles Angelina just enough to be a convincing younger version.
