Lara Logan
Lara Logan is the foreign affairs chief correspondent for CBS News. She has spoken out about the lack of media interest for the soldier in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Logan Lands First Overseas Obama Interview
Speculations on her recent credibility be damned. Barack Obama 's people still hold Lara Logan in high esteem.
In a coup that guarantees Logan is here to stay, the CBS reporter landed the first interview with Obama on his eight-country tour of the Middle East.
Who did she beat? Katie Couric (also CBS), Charles Gibson (ABC), and Brian Williams (NBC) all have interviews scheduled with Obama during the week, as do FOX and CNN reporters.
But Logan got to him on Sunday. BAM! Look out Couric. When she gets back from the Middle East, Logan might be gunning for that anchor seat.
