According to Grant Paulsen of 106.7 the Fan in DC , Redskins safety LaRon Landry has decided to not undergo surgery to repair his injured Achilles tendon.
I’m not sure this is the good idea for Landry, since he took the same route last offseason and it forced him to miss eight games in 2011.
Landry’s contract is up and he’ll become an unrestricted free agent once the new league begins in March.

In a move that should surprise absolutely no Redskins fan, and likely should’ve taken place several weeks ago (if not longer), the Redskins have placed safety LaRon Landry on injured reserve (IR) for the second consecutive year, effectively ending his injury-plaged 2011 season.
