Thankfully, something rejuvenated the comedic genius, and he gave us another tour through his neurotic world of social anxiety.

David moved the show to New York, which gave the series a fresh look and feel, but he was smart enough (obviously) to weave the awkward interactions and harsh examinations of society that we all love within the new environment. From competing with Rosie O'Donnell for women to doubting the severity of Michael J. Fox's Parkinson's to giving Bill Buckner a shot at redemption, David made us laugh like no one else can.

AskMen's 2011 list of the Top 49 Most Influential Men showcases a diverse range of individuals from all walks of life. From tech visionaries to road cyclists, this year's list was based on more than 200,000 reader votes, as well as intense deliberation among the website's editorial staff.
