Learnings from the Gospel

How can we cast out Satan in our lives? By the power and name of Jesus Christ. When we have accepted Christ by our belief, shown first in our baptism in his name. The devil no longer has a claim over us. Just as Jesus said in Matthew 12:43. When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none. Baptism is seen in various modes or ways throughout the word of God. Christian baptism has ancient roots in the events of the Old Testament. One passage is 1 Peter 3:20-21. Which sometime were disobedient, when once the long suffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water. This is a study presented to me by Bill Presher. Wednesday we had a study on the Tabernacle. Here are some interesting points to be gleaned from it. The Ark of the testimony has two references. Firstly, is the ark of the testimony; and the second being the ark of the convenant. The definitions are ark, testimony, and covenant are as follows.
