Due to its sectarian diversity, Lebanon follows a special political system, known as confessionalism, meant to distribute power as evenly as possible among different sects.

Exclusive: Close Call for Maid in Lebanon

Bilad ash-sham today obtained exclusive photos of a maid who it appears considered throwing herself off a Beirut building - but didn't. Or perhaps she was sent on a dangerous mission to clean the windows from the outside, but in either case, this is certainly an exclusive - so don't mock it.
As you can see from our coverage above, the maid, is considering quiting her job via destruction of her physical body. Next we see her on the ledge, seriously contemplating a leap. And then, she decides against it, and goes back into her prison. (Or, could it be that she is cleaning the windows?... We cannot tell, but like to assume the worst.)
