The New Orleans Saints are on pace to break the single season NFL scoring record last set by the 2007 New England Patriots. Some pundits are comparing the '09 Saints to the '01 Rams with all of their offensive firepower.

Torry Holt got a number of wins with the St. Louis Rams. Now he has one against them.Holt had 101 yards receiving in his first game against his former team, Maurice Jones-Drew ran for 133 yards and three touchdowns and the Jacksonville Jaguars beat the Rams 23-20 in overtime Sunday. Josh Scobee provided the winner, a 36-yard field goal with 8 minutes to play in the extra frame.read more

I can't believe I feel anything like "compassion" for a rams player.  Is it just me or does anyone else feel sorry for Stephen Jackson after the beating he took on Sunday?  What a waste of talent, personally if I'm building a team and can pick one NFL running back, I'd take Jackson.  I know AP is a better runner from scrimmage, but Jackson is the most complete back in the NFL and he doesn't have AP's fumble problems.  He's one of the top...

The last time St. Louis Rams receiver Keenan Burton was on the field he tied an NFL career high with five catches and the 54 yards was a personal best. If the records seem modest, remember that Burton is a second-year player for a team that is not exactly an offensive powerhouse.
