Leonidas was a king of Sparta, the 17th of the Agiad line. He was one of the sons of King Anaxandridas II of Sparta, descendant of Heracles. He succeeded his half-brother Cleomenes I, probably in 489 or 488 BC. Leonidas married Cleomenes daughter, Gorgo.

I just got back from cinema where I watched for the second time the 300 movie and I have to say I'm so excited that I'd like to present today some t-shirts relevant to the Hot Gates and the 300 Spartans! The first person to ask of course was fellow Greek Nassos who also loved the movie (personally I can't think of any Greek that didn't like it...) and he show me his design that he just completed. I just found this t-shirt at Splitreason and I have to say that finally I found another great Spartan t-shirt! I was not impressed with anything I'd seen so far, with only exception this t-shirt by Teeteaser . But with this one I can safely say there are some good 300 movie t-shirts!
