Leopard Geckos

Leopard Geckos are a common type of pet gecko.

A nice exotic pet - Geckos

Geckos are wide variety of bright colors and patterns. Geckos store fat and metabolic water in their sometimes fat and pudgy tails. Sometimes the tails get broken. They clean their eyes with their tongues. The toes of the gecko have a special adaptation that allows them to adhere to most surfaces without the use of liquids or surface tension

Leopard Geckos live in Afghanistan, Iran, Pakistan and West India. Adults feature patterns of stripes and mottles. Juvenile species are ringed yellow and dark brown; they obtain spots in the course of time. There are a few differences between sexes. Males have somewhat broader heads and more defined pores. Leopard Geckos are 8-10 inches in length. The sex of the young is determined by incubation temperature.

The Tokay Gecko is one of the most vocal of all reptiles, a not-very-vocal group.
