Les Paul Funeral Arrangements are posted here Les Paul is the musician who helped create the solid-body electrical guitar which transformed the music world . He died at age 94. On August 19, 2009 he was honored at a private funeral service in New York City.There was also a reception at the Gibson Showroom in NYC. Les Paul died from complications associated with severe pneumonia in White Plains, New York.
