Life’s a Beach

Sorry this post is so late. I went away for the weekend to the beach, and despite my best efforts, I did not post Sunday, nor earlier today.

One thing I really like about WordPress is that I can schedule posts. This means I can write them, save them, and set them to post at a later time. M and I left for the beach on Friday, and I have several posts scheduled for the weekend. I planned to finish Sunday and Monday while at the beach. No such luck.

I forgot my aircard… and I never forget it. I even packed all my techie stuff the day prior, so I would not forget. It usually sits in an honored place of my laptop bag. Well, nope. I didn’t check good enough. I figured it wouldn’t be such a good deal. We were staying in a nice hotel, so they should have wifi, right? Wrong. No wifi. Not even an ethernet jack.

While I had a nice, relaxing time, I wanted to apologize to those of you who follow SD regularly.

On the other hand, it was nice to have the quiet time. The weather was beautiful, the beach was roaring, the company was grand, the shopping excellent, and we even each won a jackpot. Modest ones, but it paid for the shopping, so who are we to judge?
