Soap Opera Star
Trent Dawson and I attended the Louisiana School for Math Science and the Arts in Natchitoches, Louisiana. He was a senior in high school while I was a junior. Other than both spending some time in Colorado, the similiarities stop there.
Trent followed his dreams to become an actor and now plays the part of Henry Coleman on "As The World Turns." I don't watch soap operas but decided to try to catch a glimpse of Henry, just to see his work. Yesterday, I had that opportunity.
Henry's girlfriend (?) decided they should dress up as George and Martha Washington for the Fouth of July Celebration. Lots of comedy ensued as Henry talked about his "doodle" being a "dandy." The lines were ridiculous, as are most soap opera lines, but Trent delivered them beautifully.
Although Trent and I never spoke a word, I'm proud of his success. I hope his life is as fulfilling as mine, and isn't that of a soap opera.
