Taking to cohort
Lil Twist's Ustream after an extended studio session last night, Lil Wayne bid farewell to his fans before he headed to prison. The rapper, who performed on the Grammys just over a week ago, talked about his going away party at the Miami club Dolce and jokingly took a poll asking if he should count anyone who missed his party among his friends. Eventually,
Wayne gave his goodbye.
"I’m out this bitch," he said. "To all my fans, my real fans, I really, really, really truly love you. I love you with all of me, for real. I’ll probably be loving everything else because I love you so much. Thank you from the bottom [of my heart]. Do not forget about me ’cause I will forever think about you, and I cannot wait for you to see me again. I’m out."
Lil Wayne had previously told
Rolling Stone that he had not sought advice for how to get through his stint at Riker's Island. "This is Lil Wayne going to jail. Nobody can tell me what that's like," he said. "I just say I'm looking forward to it."
Hopefully Lil Wayne stays out of trouble after he gets out and maybe his fans can welcome him back at the 2011 Grammy awards.
